We got up bright and early today to do a drive on the Schnebly Hill Road. This is a pretty tough road to navigate for passenger cars and we were grateful to have a 4-wheel drive SUV rental. The first stop made was at the Vista — the road was gated off beyond that point. [...]

This first view can be seen on Google Maps and was taken at 1/250 sec exposure at f 8 on March 16, 2009. The focal length was 105 mm at ISO 200.

I used the Nikon D300 with the fantastic Nikkor 70-200 VR . In case you’re a photo geek, I shoot in RAW and the exposure was 1/500 second at f/11.
